When I did a Channel to the Med ride through France, I got ecited when I spotted my first coypu road kill in the Carmargue. After half a dozen corpses in around ten kilometres, the novelty wore off. Somewhere in Provence a stretch of road was almost carpeted with rat corpses, I've never seen anything like before or since.

Lots here.. thankfully the rain keeps the smell down. Perhaps thats why you don't notice it.. Good day today, dead badgers, foxes, cats and tons of flies.. (sort of like that 14 year Cicada thing almost.. great swarms of flies) ... no need for after spin protein shake.

I saw one of the dead badgers on the way back down Priory Lane after an afternoon trip round Richmond Park, London. It wasn't there on the way in. What on earth was a badger doing in broad daylight on quite a busy road?

Round here you are most likely to see foxes, rabbits and the odd seagull.

If you kill one in France they award you a Badger v'Honneur.

The Costa Clyde rain magnet.
As a motorcyclist, I pray for the day when DEER learn to cross the road properly  . That is the one thing that spooks me when out on the motorbike, especially in wooded areas with sources of water on the other side of the road.
