I had one. It was a MKIV with hard and soft top.
Had to sell it when no1 Son came along. It was immaculate I needed the cash else I would have kept it.

Lotus pepped up Fords before the Talbot Horizon

I remember them with Mk 2 cortinas but here is a Mk 1. I think Fords went off to do their own rally cars when the Escort came along so Lotus had to look elsewhere.
