Er, did it put you off them for life ...I don't think my Mum ever forgave me for not knowing where the correct exit was![]()
My mum was a domiciliary midwife for 25 years and loved home births... your wife will have been carefully screened for home birth so apart from the loud swearing, you should be OK.... from a dad's perspective, it's wonderful! [but guard your thumbs]. Then, immediately afterwards, new mums start to think it would be nice to have another one.... must be powerful mind-bending drugs released after delivery!

When son # 1 was born (in 1987) in St Georges Hospital Tooting. The wife was midway through pushing the little sprog out when I noticed the window cleaner outside on a gantry having a good old gawp, I had to quickly pull the blind down lol..... true story..![]()
