Must have been a lot of colour blind people in WW1 if you look at some of the schemes from that period as well.

Odd, when I first clicked on it the picture seemed to show something that lloked like a Mig 21, but then the picture changed quickly to one of dismembered wings and fusealges
Looks like Harriers and possibly a couple of jet provosts to me

Punching out is not something you really want to do if you can avoid it, maybe he was going to ride it out until , suddenly the flames around the canopy changed his mind for him?

Quite understandable!

BTW I cycled past this place at lunchtime and spent so long stretching my neck to try and snout over the fence I could barely cycle in a straight line!

That must be Abbey oaks, sproughton! I know the guy. Bought a few aircraft off him. Yes he deals in military aircraft as well as civilian...as well as anything else he can buy and sell.
Nice bloke...kinda don't want to upset him though!

I've said from the start that the folk who came out to enquire as to the reason for my presence were perfectly charming. My violinist (who met the guys) said they were lovely.
