mmm i dont know what to belive have been told it kills of a lot evey year, and met a surgon at do, he siad off the record dont? so bugger ill take my chances
Im pretty lucky as im not prone to colds, chest infections and the like but i have had proper flu twice in my lifetime and never ever want it again.
I think if the Doctor is actually offering it to you there is a reason and he/she probably thinks that you may be suitable for it for some reason so i would take it. They don't offer things like this lightly as its all costs.
Same here. What persuaded me was a bout of flu three years ago which had me bedridden for over a week - I shrugged those off in my youth, but not in ..er.. my early 60s. The jab seems to stop colds, too.
I don't think there is a downside, is there?
Yes, it would be better - in fact we could probably halve the NHS spend after a few years; but that would require people to take personal responsibility.I do think that if we all took less pills and jabs and worked on building our immune systems through diet and exercise it would be better, but I'm just one in 60 million so.....I'll get the jab
