Mine was my dad's, he played it in local bands right up until he got ill. We sorted out all of the family stuff this summer after my mum downsized a 4 bed detached to a 2 bed bungalow. The musical nephew got his guitar collection but I wanted to keep the banjo and at least try and coax a tune out of it again. I quite like country and folksy music so hope (forlornly) something has stuck somewhere inside me.I've owned a banjo for 12 years: it's been out of its case twice, just to show people.
One day...
Nice gun. I've been toying with the idea of getting a Silver Pigeon for clay shooting. They get very good reviews.
I tried one on trial afternoon of clay shooting and it was really nicely balanced. The model I might save up for is about £1300 if you shop around. I certainly won't have acquired the moolah by Christmas.I'm on a budget and they come well recommended by people what I know what's got them.
Stollen? Did you take it without paying?A Stollen cake from Lidl, same as last Christmas.
Very nice I used to have one many years ago . good old Admiral they started the whole replica shirt business

A Canadian canoe.
We live about a mile from the Thames so a paddle to a riverside pub for lunch could be on the cards.
I haven't made a Bailey's cheesecake for years, it was a recipe my mum gave me from a cutting in the paper, now mislaid, I'll have to try that oneGive yourself a double treat and make yourself this: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/344606/baileys-cheesecake
Deliciously delish.![]()
Stand up paddle boarding before anyone knew it was called that?Probably, though I'm not sure it is strictly allowed and it is pretty shallow.
As kids we used to play along the Longford river alot. When they were building the A316 flyover we would go and nick big slabs of polystyrene and punt them back to our bit in Hampton.
