Mate of mine got a lift after spending a couple of months on a kibbutz. "So," says the driver, on discovering he's picked up a Brit, "how's the war going?" "WAR?" said my friend, "What war?" He wasn't sure, but he thought the Falklands were round the Orkneys or somewhere. What the bloody hell were Argentina doing up there?
