I must admit,the conditions were perfect! A warm evening with a hint of a breeze and hardly any cars on the road,it was very tempting but i didn't want anyone thinking that i was an anti football/England nobber so i watched the game instead.

I spent the duration of yesterdays england game trying to find out why my in my car the speedo is now connected to the rev counter. I spent an interesting couple of hours learning all sorts of new stuff about RF interference and shielding that I didn't know before.Way more useful than watching the footy.

Haven't fixed it yet though.

I had the opposite issue with an old cavalier of mine... rev count used to randomly go off and 'bounce around' at the 12,000rpm if you extrapolated the actual range, which caused it to impede on the speedo - the only saving grace being that the speedo dial was usually at the upper end of the range when this issue happened. Garage though we were mad at first until one of the mechanics finally witnessed it. You knew it wasn't really happening (holding a constant engine rev would see it bounce between 5,000rpm and 8,000rpm on a good day). Ended up with a new speedo and everything set back to 000000 miles. Life was much better afterwards and considerably slower as well. How we never got caught for speeding was beyond us because we went from being one of the fastest cars (on the old speedo holding 70mph) to one of the slowest cars (on the new speedo holding 70mph) on motorways/dual carriageways. how badly out it was, was anyone's guess, but we reckon ours was faulty by anything up to 15-20mph and in the wrong direction!

I was assembling my dive kit ready for loading onto the RIB tomorrow. I lost my deco puter for an hour then found it in the pocket where I put it to not lose it. am now trying desperately to not waste an evneing on here when i should be dive planning and sorting out what I am supposed to be assisting teaching tomorrow.

Work have changed tonight's shift start time so people can watch a bunch of grown men kicking a bag of air about , i am sure i have some paint that needs close attention while its drying

I don't find a bunch of multi-millionaires kicking a bag of air around a field very interesting either so there's a kettle in our kitchen that needs watching and also some new concrete posts in a nearby garden that could possibly need keeping an eye on while they set.

BTW, does anyone know where 'Ingeerrrlaaaaand' is?. Can't seem to find it on Google Earth or the Starfleet database of known planets
