It was £1 if she lost a tooth whilst staying with me at the weekends. Her Mum was obviously trying to get one over on me as she/the tooth fairy was giving her £5 if she lost it at her house during the week.

Thankfully she only lost one tooth at mine; I suspect the fivers were coming out of the generous child maintenance payments I make to her Mum anyway!! :boxing:

I remember being thrilled to get 5p (and once 10p!) when I was a kid and losing my baby teeth around '72 / '73.
