So what's the going rate for the tooth fairy?

velocison's upper front teeth had been refusing to come out for weeks. the dentist warned they would have to be extracted soon. unbelievably, this was the dentists advice...tell him to wiggle them, wait for him to get hold of them and then smack his arm to knock the teeth out. that's just wrong on so many levels!
a combination of clove oil and wiggling has seen them both come out this weekend.
as far as paying for teeth goes, it's always struck me as very odd, especially when linked to the supernatural. however i do agree that the whole thing can be a big deal for the child and deserves some sort of treat. velocison chose a pineapple.
so there you have it, the going rate is one pineapple ;-)

Don't worry. I started believing in him again, mainly at the time when I had to be him for a spell...

I started to wish I still believed... then delegated the role to Mrs Claus. She can sneak in so much better than me, I was falling over toys, kicking bed posts etc

This is genius! I have visions of a little fairy tugging away at a sleeping child's front tooth or molar using their bottom lip or chin dimple for traction on her little feet!

Which explains one of the many reasons why I'm not (allowed to be) a parent!!!!
