I am of the same opinion as your good self Rocky. 36 years married this year, and again there will be no cards. I have relented and got some daffodils for MrsP on Saturday though.

I didn't get any for years and years but the postman was actually dumping them because I was getting so many due to being so handsome and the load was damaging his back. The undelivered bulk was only discovered when the pile grew so large that they blocked a drainage outflow to the river causing floods in the local area last year. It was impossible to accurately state exactly how many there were but figures estimate it was somewhere in the 5,000 mark.
