22 miles in the dark this evening. Went through a deep ford which soaked my feet even though they were at 3 and 9 o'clock. Not sure that did much good for the hubs on my new wheels

Loads of water, debris and mud but quite enjoyed it on my hack.

Careful with that axle Eugene
I had a ride around the lanes to Eckington and back, dodging puddles and debris to clock up a bit more than 20 miles. Quite nice, despite the wind!

I've no doubt. It's currently raining here (Abergavenny) again quite hard and has been for the last 5 hours !
Up at Plynlimon and Vyrnwy too, looking at the rainfall radar (these are the areas that affect the Severn in Shropshire).

I notice a flood warning has now been issued for the Quarry in Shrewsbury. Might be worth a look again tomorrow if I get a chance.

30 miler today, blowing a gale but lovely & sunny, only came across one lane that had turned into a lake, luckily we could take a small detour to avoid it.

Yea got out for a couple of hours this afternoon, this weekend has seen the lowest mileage for the year, 40 miles for the whole weekend mostly due to family, must do better next weekend.^_^

I didn't - got a lift with a friend instead. Only saw a handful of cyclists in town, including someone from my cycling group on her way to work - she did not seem to be enjoying herself at all.
