All you young uns look away, unless you're Dutch. Fabulous condition. A proper Classic Town bike. It’s like riding on air. It is sooo smooth. Paintwork is beautiful. Dark classy green. A proper English bike. The Sturmey Archer gearing works perfectly, quiet and smooth. Original tyres I think though look new.. This is a 1985 machine. Full of classy little touches. Comes complete with a Sturmey Archer working dynamo [didn’t know Sturmey Archer made dynamos] and one of those little clicking speedometers although I've taken it off as it was annoying me. Bike is too quiet. Also a side stand that just flips down. Wide proper metal mudguards to keep the rain off. Look at the size of that bell! It has been so well looked after. It used to belong to a Church verger who has passed away. I can imagine him putting on his cycle clips before sailing down to the church on this silent beauty. Use it for shopping, going into the city or going to church. This bike will last a 100 years if you look after it. I would love to keep it but I don’t have the space and it is just a touch too short for me at 6'2" although enough in seat post to fit me. 23.5" Frame. They do a new Chinese version of this that costs £240 but is a million miles away from this sort of original English quality. Why do Pashley charge so much? Rare opportunity. Looking for faults? Well the rear light lens has a crack in it and the letter R in Raleigh has faded. Lovely Town bike/shopper. It's in Manchester. I will post but I will need to work out a price as it is a heavy item and will include insurance. Looking for £132.
