The image you are viewing, shows for sale my early century sports bike.
I bought it from a cycling friend in March 2015. It had been hanging up in he's barn for 25 years. Although I can't be 100% positive, I think the maker is Ariel, & date of manufacture is between 1900 & 1910. Looking at the cycle (close up) it is clear it's been updated, possibly during the 30s.
The frame size is 26 inches, the wheels are 28 inches. The 3-speed gear box is a much later addition.
I bought it purely for static displays, hence it condition.
