Dawes Renown Audax/Road Bike. Exceptional condition. Reynolds 531.

Only one previous owner of this lovely bike, who purchased it in 1981 from Overburys in Bristol. (I have the original receipt). It was cherished by its previous owner and fastidiously maintained by me to respect its history.

Specification as follows:
▪️Reynolds 531 frame and forks
▪️Mavic MA3 rims on Campagnolo hubs
▪️Campagnolo Veloce brake levers/gear changers with new hoods
▪️Campagnolo Mirage 9 speed derailleur 13-28
▪️Spa/Stronglight triple chain-set 48-38-28 with 170mm cranks
▪️SKS mudguards
▪️Shimano SPD pedals
▪️New Schwalbe Marathon tyres 700/32
▪️Tortec rack (if wanted)
▪️Shimano rs100 brakes
▪️New Nitto Randonneur handlebars (not pictured)
The Brooks saddle is not included. The original quill stem is also available.

Seat tube = 57cm
Top tube c to c = 58cm
Stand over height = 83cm

The bike was re sprayed/re enamelled in its original blue, with the correct decals, by Argos Framebuilders in Bristol 4 years ago. It has a metallic shimmer that looks superb in the sunshine.
The headset and front wheel have recently had new bearings.
The bike rides beautifully and the Campagnolo shifters are fantastic.
I am buying a new touring bike and need the garage space.

Any questions, please ask. I have tried to cover most pertinent issues.
NOW REDUCED TO JUST £155
Thanks,
Kev

So tempted. But it won't fit me.

Looks smaller than a 57cm to me more like 55cm 22"?

I cannot be trusted with such a nice bike!
