Marin Toscana CX (Cyclocross) 58 cm (Bought new in 2009)
Has previously been advertised on this forum – but now with NEW FRAME supplied and built up by Marin’s UK importer. I wasn’t happy that the tyres had marked the inside of the chain stays and returned the bike to Marin. The bike has not been ridden since it was returned and therefore has a spotless unmarked frame. Components are in good condition and include the original Kenda Kross Supreme 700 x 35 tyres. These do run very close to the frame due to their size – I’d advise the fitting of a 32 tyre to give more clearance and avoid any further marking to the frame.
Seat Tube 58cm (centre to top) Top Tube 58.5cm (centre to centre)
Frame: 6061 Aluminum Hydro Edge with Anti Flex seatstays.
Fork: RFE Carbon Fibre, disc mounts and mudguard eyes.
Wheels: Mavic CXP22 rims with Shimano M525 hubs 700 x 35c Kenda Kross Supreme Tyres
Brakes: Avid BB5 mechanical discs front and rear.
Cranks: FSA Vero 50/39/30 11-26 rear
Front Mech Sora and rear Mech Deore
Shifters: Shimano Sora 9 speed (left is triple)
Stem: Marin 6061 oversize
FSA: Headset
Bars FSA Vero Compact (44cm)
Seatpost and Saddle both Marin own brand.
In view of the NEW frame I’m looking for £450 - I’d prefer a purchaser who came to see the bike (West Yorkshire) – but could look into costs of postage / meeting up.
