I've just (about an hour ago) unwrapped a pair in 26x1.9, lovely looking bits of kit but I'm afraid my winter ride will be the million-year-old MTB as I'm still a bit precious about riding the Tricross on salted roads.

However... however... no, sorry, I must resist. But I'm still posting on this thread to remind myself that I might want to come back if no one rips your hand off with these.

I always wanted to get some of these on my tricross, then do canals and trails like tissington in the winter.

Go on Norm, your tricross deserves it (And you can always hose her down afterwards!)

I'm sure would be a great ride, but my old MTB is also superb at urban commuting. Meaning Paul's tyres are still calling for a new owner.

I know I was looking at a similar deal/swap with Gaz(GB155) I have the 700s and he had the 26", I've changed tack since then but he may still be on the lookout for that swap.

I have some schwalbe mountaineer 2's. 26 x1.90

Don't want winter tyres but would swap for a normal set of road tyres.
