Forgive the silly question, What makes this different from another chain. say the one that is currently fitted to my specialized Sirrus also will this fit mine....

There is never such a thing a s a sill question, it is a Shimano HG (HyperGlide) chain, matched to the 105 components, slightly narrower and directional, for use with compact chainset, not a triple, will fit most compact 10 speed set ups.
