Hi
I’m reluctantly selling my Specialized Sirrus Elite (2007) hybrid. It’s a great bike and I love it, but it’s not getting very much use these days and I need the space, to be honest.
It’s a 2007 model. Frame size is Large (56.5cm - toptube horizontal length).
The original specification is here:
http://www.specialized.com/gb/gb/bikes/archive/2007/sirrus/sirruselite#specs
It is a great commuting bike, equally capable on roads or canal paths, etc.
It has had excellent reviews and comes well-recommended. You won’t be disappointed with this bike.
Some changes I have made from the original spec:
Specialized Bar ends added .
Rear wheel - replaced with a Shimano R500.
Rear Derailleur - Shimano Sora.
SKS mudguards– a little bit loose and could do with replacement or minor repair to fix it.
Tyres – Schwalbe Duranos – bomb-proof – never ever had a puncture in them!
Pedals – SPDs.
The bike has carbon forks (front and rear) and a carbon seat post, so it is a lightweight frame and a smooth, fast ride.
Bike is in very good condition and has been well-maintained.
Note: There is a tear in the seat where it had been leant against a wall (...with a nail in it!).
Bike location is Oadby, Leicester - if you want to have a closer look at the bike, let me know.
I’m looking for £150 ono, which I think is a reasonable price. Prefer cash or BACS transfer.
Please send me a PM if you're interested.
Thanks, Maz.
