Ride It Like You Stole It!

Well, Finally got my MRI & Nerve Conductive Test results today, after ten weeks....

Clear.....no issues - no Spinal or nerve damage.. Phew.... I have the go ahead to use my shoulder as normal, and can now knock the Physio (private) on the head and just maybe go back occasionally...

But, they can't explain the 24/7 pain in my arm, shoulder blade area and hand...... likely to be stretched nerves in my neck from the crash, but nothing they can do, time will heal it - so now referred to the pain clinic...

Shoulder still like a bag of spanners, after 7 months, but it's stable. The crunching should eventually go.....a year or so..... - again an operation not really an option. I was offered a steroid injection, but I didn't want it

Anyway.....Manchester 100 I think again this year...see if it holds up, then ride some proper Sportives next year.

Sounds like a mixed bag but glad to hear it's not a permanent thing.

Happy miles - and  DON'T OVER DO IT ;) !

Glad to hear it is nothing serious.

Just treat each day as a step closer to the day when you are fully healed. Even days when the shoulder is hurting and feels like it is regressing, is still another day closer to that goal of full recovery. Thoughts like this kept me going when I was off judo (now retired) for 9 months following a knee op!
