If anybody is going to tour in Germany then campsite info is going to be helpful..and it can often be better in English. I contacted the German tourist office and they have been extremely helpful. Today the post I recieved a small booklet entitled 'Campsites in germany' ISBN978-3-00-024204-5
list price 9.80 euros but they sent it for free. It has clear listings of 1000 (although i suspect not all perhps) campsites with locations, contact info, gps details, prices, facilities, etc etc. The maps are to general for use on there own, you need to combine this info with a more detailed street map or a gps systen to navigate to the sites. However it has what is needed and it is in English which is a big plus.

The book itself is a touch heavy to take on the trip, however I will locate the en route sites on my maps and simply cut out the relevant campsite info sections and carry those with me.
