Ride buddy and I, West Wickham hight street, 6.50 last night after a fast and long down (ish) hill run from Shirley.
We approached the hight street and began a tiny climb. In an effort to maintain momentum we both stood on our pedals as we rounded the exit from the main RAB.
We were flying...
only to be met with a red light from a crossing.
GRRR, we both roll our eyes, sigh and come to a full stop.
Lush lady on the crossing looks at us and calls "Thanks Lads and sorry , I'd never have pressed the button if I'd seen you comming!"
How nice is that?
