I live 4 miles from leicester and am planing to do some touring maybe smaller trips first till i have learnt to sleep in a tent and sort all the probs out anyone fancy teamingup? another novice tourer maybe?

no plans at all yet moodyman the first thing will prob be a couple of local campsites to get used to seting up packing away ectect, open to sujestions

i am in your neck of the woods just outside Leicester and ride a recumbent trike.
i like you have a plan this year to do a couple of 2-3 day tours. my son is also interested in coming along and possibly 1 of his mates, they are 16. i have looked at possibly riding out to conkers/snibston discovery park where there is a campsite and staying 1 night as a trial.the route there will be approx 40 miles in a circular shape though this has yet to be finalised. We still have some things to get for the bikes as well as for the actual camping side
