I was scrolling through my Instagram news feed this week, where I follow many cyclists and cycle profiles and I came accross a certain rider who posted a pic of his pre-ride breakfast.
I'm definitely going to try this......
It's baked beans simmered and then 4-5 eggs cooked on the top with grated cheese and bacon. I would imagine a good hour would be needed to let this go down properly though !
Porridge used to be the order of the day before a ride, but lately I'm struggling to eat that simply because it's so frickin boring. Been eating weetabix mixed with cornflakes and hot milk recently.
Anyone have any different and unusual foods they eat before a ride ?
