Lots of drivers have no sense of anticipation, it's not just cycles, they'll carry on at 40mph to a queue of traffic and brake rather than lift off the accelerator and decellerate naturally.

The other night I saw a lady neary go into the back of two cars...one was signalling right (I thought they had left their indicator on by mistake), but then they started to brake, yet the lady in front didn't....then the car is jammed to a halt. 10 minutes later, she nearly went in the back of a car at a roundabout.

sorry, the back of their car. They pull in past you, then immediatly stop for the traffic.

I just wondered if it was only on my commute (and I'm a bit bored)

I see 'em all the time. It's fun when there's a line of lights and they have to get past you at every one, even though you just filter past every time. It's like once you're overtaken you're supposed to stay overtaken.
