I watched a post on Youtube of a young lady riding Lejog solo. It appears shd rode from Lands End to somewhere near Lancaster and then took the train to Thurso. She then rode to JOG and back to Lancaster.

Ive never heard of it being done this way. But I thought it was quite clever.

Maybe she has done LEJOGLE.

I have never heard of it before. But she covered the entire route and the distance. Her day on the train can be counted as a day off, which many people take.

I just thought it was an interesting alternative.

I wonder if she lives at/near Lancaster - I could see some logic in that with costs and train hassles?

BTW : LEJOGLE s the "double" Land's End - John O'Groats - Land's End

I've always counted Home -> LE -> JoG -> Home (of which I've done 3) as a double if it's all done by bike.
