Hi All,

I am a frequent cyclist and just got a new bike which I took out for a spin this weekend. I pushed myself about the same as normal but the next day I have sore biceps femoris.

I was wondering if this is normal as my new bike setup must be putting much more pressure on this muscle. What part of my setup would be effecting this muscle being used more?
The other point is I found it noticeably harder to go uphill on a lighter bike. I am slightly concerned the setup is not putting the stress on the proper muscles. I assume this might have something with my saddle height but this seems about right to me.

Any ideas?

Cheers

One can only guess and a proper bike fit seems to be in order but saddle height is prime suspect.
