Done a bit of looking through various threads. Spesh Phat bar tape seems to get a good review from lots of people though my copy of C+ just dropped through the door and no mention of it in their six of the best section which coincidentally has a review of bar tapes.
Would this help or would be just throwing good money away.

I use Cinelli Gel Bar tape which has really helped with my hands over longer distances.
