@ColinJ

They are really good I promise !

Sorry…..did you mean if anybody HASNT got in first (Which they haven’t) you’ll take them ?
Yes, I will have them, thanks! I will PM you.

I already have a pair of earbuds that sound quite good but they are not comfortable for long listening periods. I also fancy trying doing my Cragg Vale hill climb challenge with some music to motivate me but want to be able to hear vehicles coming up behind me.

The earbuds arrived about an hour ago, and as described - are immaculate!

My phone took a few attempts to pair to them but now all is well.

The way they are hooked round the ears looks a bit odd and takes a bit of getting used to, but so far feels very comfortable and I don't think that they would fall off on road rides, when walking around, or generally doing anything that didn't involve sudden head movements. My ears will definitely be more comfortable after an hour or two wearing these than they would have been with my old in-ear (vs these 'on-ear') earbuds.

I still have them in place but no sound playing and I can hear what is going on around me. I actually put a video on YouTube of traffic noise to see if I could hear the vehicles while playing music. If I had the music at a moderate level - yes; cranking the volume up, fairly obviously - not during the loud bits! So, if you are going to listen to music out on the road, keep the volume down to maintain situational awareness.

The sound quality is surprisingly good considering the (original) price, and especially at the price that I paid! :okay: I found it just a little bright, and the bass is not quite as good as on my in-ear earbuds but I just found a playback equaliser on YouTube Music and used that to cut 4 kHz by 5 dB and boost 60 Hz by 5 dB, which made the sound more to my taste.

I don't have anybody else here to check sound leakage in use but given how the earbuds work I think that there will be more than with my in-ear earbuds so I would probably use those on public transport to avoid annoying anybody.

So, thanks a lot @sevenfourate!
