Mrs Uncle Phil's Muvi's battery seems to be feeling its age, but the rest of the camera works fine. I see that the battery is quite accessible by opening the case, and is marked 3.7v 250mAh, also DS581636 and 091118 (is that last bit a date?).
It would be straightforward to replace it - just two solder pads to remove and reconnect. However, first I have to find a replacement. In the past I've had little difficulty replacing such batteries in small gadgets, but I can't find this one online anywhere.
Does anyone have a source for such gadget batteries that's worth a try? There must be other thumb-sized gadgets that use the same battery...
