Southend Freewheel event - Sunday 14 June

NuttyCyclist on YACF has asked me to post this here for the CycleChatters' delectation.


Sunday 14th June.

Southend Seafront closed from Chalkwell Beach to Southend Pier.

Kids charity ride in the morning.

Adults fun ride from 12 to 4 pm.

Without a good response the Council won't be able to repeat this event. It's the first day of their Bike Week.

They will be lucky to get a good response - it is not even mentioned on the Council's web site.

As I also posted over there, look out for official Sky Freewheel events in Leicester, Manchester and Glasgow ths year. Leicester is August 30th, can't remember the dates for the others just now but have them written down somewhere.
