Guests can take part in 3 rides before they need join the CTC. So your brother would be very welcome please get him to register and enter BC in CTC number field.

And a Yay! to your brother joining us. Been a (long) while....
Meanwhile, the Charging of the Batteries has begun. Currently on the third set of spare AAs (first eight saw eight different charge levels, as per usual!). Mr Gravel is having a rack fitted tomorrow, ready for its adventures in touring- treating Thursday/Friday as a dry run.

Just to manage expectations effectively, if the Norwegians are right, I'll be asleep. Will make a judgement call as time progresses but will do so before Weds morning at the latest.

Me too.. to be honest I have done enough FNR's in the rain... not keen to do any more.

I don't mind cycling in the rain with purpose, it's just I'm afraid Southend via J31 in March doesn't tick the right boxes....
