middle of nowhere in France
cycling shorts ? i have a pair of spanx (gripper knickers) - for the guys, they are pants that hold you up and in !!
anyway i was thinking if i cut out the padding in a pair of cycling shorts and sew them in the spanx, i can hide the pot belly whilst cycling, do you think it would work ?

Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
I doubt you'll find any guys on here with pot belly experience, you know, with us all being super hero fit macho cyclists an' all...;)

Yes if you want to pass out - otherwise no.

p.s. Spanx are an awful invention akin to corsets with the damage they do to your body

Ride with a poddy tummy and be proud. You are out cycling which is more than most people are doing.

Why not just buy some "magic" underwear - like a more breathing friendly version of spanx! Sloggi do comfy ones, and M&S do pretty ones.
Much easier to wear under your cycling knickers -and more comfy.
