I am after some decent road type shoes that are SPD compatible (i.e. take the 2 bold cleats and have a recessed bottom so that I can walk in them OK.). SPD-SL are just not for me I'm afraid.
Shimano make a SH-RT range that stood for road touring that were in the £50 price bracket. Examples are SH-RT31, SH-RT32 & SH-RT82. But apart from a few end of line oddments (sadly not in my size) Wiggle and CRC etc. don't seem to stock them anymore. Have they stopped making this range?
Any recommendations or advice of suitable shoes or where I can by the road touring range from?
I really don't want to spend more than £60.

I use the RT82, they are fantastic and comfy but did scratch the toe up quite badly bumping into something while walking.

Specialized or perhaps Bontrager

The more road type Shimano shoes like the R088 don't have recess

I'd go to your local LBS and see what they have

I just upgraded from my trust RT51s. I can't really fault them tbh, I just wanted to move to road pedals.

My new R107s are a bit ostentatious in white though...
