SPD shoes size 45 (about 11) doesn't matter how knackered...

I'm sure I have some standard Shimano ones I used pre knee injury. They will be size 11 or maybe 11.5 but I'll have to find them.
I bought them with SPD pedals, none Shimano because they were much lighter.

I can't even recall if they have laces or Velcro.

Sounds perfect, would you consider letting go of the pedals?

I thought I'd for a while moved to size 12 from 11 or 11.5 after the knee injury and the feet swelled up.
But no, these are size 48 which means size 12.

Sorry about that.

I'm left wondering whether cycle shoes are tight fitting for a competitive reason?

I have some size 12 shoes which are now too big yet these Shimanos are tight fitting.
And 48 is if anything 12 and a half!

Having tried them on, if anything they are too tight.
I have some size 12 shoes too big for me so I'd advise you to try on before buying.
The rumour that Shimano's are a good one size smaller had/has to be true.

And the other label says 48/13/30.5 so that must be size 13!

I've always had to go up a size with Shimano, and my Northwave boots are also plus a size. I did the same with my Lake shoes and they are bit on the big side

All cycling clothing, including shoes is a bit of a minefield IME.

How much would you like for them? Might be worth me trying them if they tend to come up small.
