Spec Sirrus owners please

JUJUBI the ladies sirrus is the vita,the wife has one and totally loves it,she tried my sirrus then tried the vita,and the vita being a ladies geometry just fitted her so much better,so basically dont over look it.

At the present moment I have cyclocross tyres on my sirrus borough 32s, and it allows the bike to go anywhere that a mountain bike would go

I have also tried the sirrus with 25c road tyres and the thing just flies.

It is very much an all round bike

The Vita looks and feels lovely, I know. But the 2011 model only goes up to 54 (or was it 56 cm) in the largest version. At my height I need something closer to a 60cm frame. I really have trouble finding a female specific bike in that size, so I think I'll settle for the Sirrus with some adjustments to saddle and handlebars. It's a pity that manufacturers increasingly seem to concentrate on their core market and no longer make bikes for taller women.

I am female, have an XL Sirrus, 5'10, long arms & legs. Female specific bikes feel too small for me too, hence I now have 2 men's bikes.

I was riding yesterday and personally wouldn't want any smaller, would feel arms and legs too cramped Think I may need to change to change the saddle. Not sure why you would change the handlebars. I have the 2010 sport with ergo grips - much more comfy than round grips I find - and bar ends.

Best go have a test ride of the L & XL and see which feels better

I'm 5'10, 30inch inside leg and brough a medium, didn't try a large but it would have been too big

I'm tall, but I have smallish hands for my size. When I tested a Sirrus Elite in L, I couldn't really reach the levers to shift gears. There are different grips on the basic model (same as the Sport I think), so the shifts could be moved closer to the ends of the handlebar, but I'll have to see how that works out when I test the bike next week. They've ordered a basic Sirrus in XL for me.
At least the brake levers seem to be close enough. Good thing. I have problems with that on my current gent's...

The L felt quite comfy, but I somehow felt that the full power of my legs couldn't really unfold (might just be delusion and lack of fitness though... :-D), and once I got up in the pedals to get up a hill, I felt the bike was weirdly disappearing under me and I quickly sat back down again to regain my balance. I guess that means it's too small.
