What would you say if i told you i have put a Tiagra triple crank set. And an 11-28 10 speed cassette on it.
How many gears would that make it

As many gears as your levers allow up to I would say to the maximum. im not a bike mechanic thou.

It depends on the year. If you have the old Tiagra 9 speed I think you would have 27 gears. If its the newer Tiagra 10 speed, which I assiume it is, then you would have 30. There will be a degree of overlap and some duplication though, so you wont have 30 distinct gears.
