Decent but nowadays overpriced for the spec and as common as the proverbial on the road

I had two in the past when the spec actually matched the price, I found them rather dull to ride, and I don't want the same bike as everyone else, but others are fans

Oh and a light-ish bike on rigid forks and slick tyres is mostly only as fast as the rider ;)

Why do you not want a road bike with drop bars if roads only and wanting as quick as you are

Only way for you to know if it's a good price, is to get out on the road on one on a testride (Evans cycles are best for this)

I had a road bike for a month but didn't like the brakes and gear shift I'd rather have a flat bar, also looking at the Scott speedster50 flat bar

Not here offten enough to argue
Contrary to what everyone says I for one have never seen a spesh sirrus on any ride I have done. Specs on all bikes change, so do frames etc etc so although it looks more expensive compared to others, maybe it's because the frame is actually worth paying the money for

Just saying like

Have one, like it, wouldn't buy a carbon one because I don't want to have to look after a carbon bike (and don't think it would make sense for me as a commuter) I think all the 2015's are carbon, but could be wrong.

Also have a Synapse with drops, hadn't used drops with hoods before, took a little time to get used to braking, but am equally at home on it.

Should be a fair number of second hand Sirrus around, if you want flats it's a good choice. I'm about to put bar ends on mine, I think it needs them if you are doing much distance, all the new ones now come with them.
