BTW, this is a (rare?) case where the speed limit for cars should be much less than bikes. The road is only a little wider than the park vehicle, and there are pedestrians and cyclists moving in both directions most of the time, as well as coming in from side paths. A vehicle moving at more than 5mph could easily hit someone.

An alert cyclist on the other hand could happily move between the pedestrians, even if they aren't sticking to their side of the path, at more than 10mph, unless it was very crowded.

Get you cyclist bingo card at the ready..........

I understand that this cyclist was stopped in a London park for going to fast.

Wait for it to talk about speeding cyclists on the roads.

I've had people complain to me about speeding cyclists on the road. I always ask what was the speed limit. 30, we'll have you tried going 30 mph on a bike.
It was, as if people here already didn't know, BBC radio 2's own Jeremy Vine. I laughed at the ribbing he got from the other presenters and he made the news bulletin in his own show^_^
