Just a quick question and I think am being a bit thick, but just need some second opinons.

Brought the above saddle in Jan, love it, any how, cycling along normal road, nothing out of the ordinary and felt a wierd crunch underneath my ass. So I stop and do the investigation part and I conclude broken as lost its firmness!

I carry on cycling to work and the back end of it pops out of the rails! I carry on and the whole thing comes off! Seems the tip section of the saddle, with it being floppy, has a broken section.

So, I call LBS and they say they will contact Specialised and might not be under warranty! I've got no idea how it works with saddles!

Any comments please! Thanks!

Yes, the saddle is buggered. If you have only had the saddle a few months it is clearly not fit for purpose and your LBS should either give you a replacement or your money back. Your contract is with them not Specialised.

Thanks FFFF!

Droped it into shop last night and picked up reciept for it, which contained part transcript with Specialised. Seemed concern is if it was involved in a crash, which, it wouldnt have been as wouldnt have been able to cycle to bike there to drop it off.. anyhow, hearing later today, so hopefully good news!

On a side note, its very interesting how much a saddle that weighs over double the Alias affects my cycling!
