Spider on celing

There has beed a spider upside down on my bedroom ceilingand it makes you wonder what they eat as there can't be many small flies around at this time of year and don't they get bored with making webs and stuff. They are amazing creatures and we can learn a lot from them.

Ceiling spiders eat lots of mosquitoes - which is a good thing.

Apparently spiders are badly dehydrated most of the time, which is why they abseil into the sink or the bath for a drink.... then can't get out again.

The spiders in my house are evolving a la Galápagos inhabitants and the under-furniture dwellers have been wiped out by my spider-hunting dog. The ceiling spiders are still going strong.
