Selfish, oh yes! Am I worth it, Damn yes :-)

Hello, Moosh here! I have been riding about on a very nice Giant, my second ever new bike, since 2011, and I have now recently acquired a new 'grown up' bike, with a pink theme going through It, my favourite colour! It's my first ever try on a drop handle bike, and so far, the two times I have been on it has been fun. My new Specialized Dolce Elite, she's pretty

Now to wait for some good weather!

Very nice, you just need pink tyres now

Pink bar tape and lose the wheel reflectors. Lovely bike all said and done. Enjoy it :becool:

Thanks for all your comments! Some great ideas, and if I chose to use all of them then I may have to change my name to Barbie! :-) but I think I will just keep it as it is, (my cycling jacket is a gorgeous raspberry colour as well) I don't want to over do it.

you still need to ditch the wheel reflectors and pie plate though - get some new pedals too.

Now funny you should mention pedals. I was thinking a grown up bike needs grown up pedals. I have been told two schools of thought 1) dual pedals, one side flat other side clippies. Pro - I can chose when to clip in or not, more power for going faster, no slipping off pedals. Cons 50% chance of not clipping in, falling off at traffic lights by not in clipping (I don't like pain!)

Any suggestions will be very helpful in my choice of pedals, as soon as I get some more practice on my bike :-)
