You need a nice bit of pink lycra cycling gear. will set it of a treat.

I'm really not a fan of A530 pedals - the platform is the wrong shape and useless in wet conditions, the bearing are the same as M520s i.e. very cheap. T780s are much better and only slightly more expensive http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=67250If you have the choice of flat and clip, especially if you go for SPD, you can use the flat to get away and flip to the clip side once you are off and running - I find these pedals very handy in traffic. These aren't the lightest but a nice compromise if you just want to use ordinary shoes too http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/PESHA530/shimano_a530_spd_pedals
If you use clip in type you will fall over several times before you adjust, because you twist your foot which takes getting used to.
I've never fallen off, even when I started using them years ago.If you use clip in type you will fall over several times before you adjust, because you twist your foot which takes getting used to.
I know what you mean. I guess it depends on your individual requirements/preferences. If you are going to use flats for any length of time the 780s would be a better option. My 530s are usually used clipped, the flat is just as a back up.I'm really not a fan of A530 pedals - the platform is the wrong shape and useless in wet conditions, the bearing are the same as M520s i.e. very cheap.
