Problem is I'll probably forget about it and walk into it myself!

I think the walls would be a bit too tall for your average fox, and anyway, would a fox open gates and do other human like things?
There are not many foxes in this area anyway, in fact, you are more likely to see Hedgehogs, not that that's any better!
@Mad Doug Biker plant spiky climbers (roses or similar) along the wall, it will soon stop any would be short-cutters.
Really you do have lots of hedgehogs in your area?
I need a family of hedgehogs to cull the slugs here: can I come along on Boris fitted with a basket, adopt a few?

Ah, good point!

Well, I do see them every so often in the garden yes. Good luck with catching one though! As for foxes, they have gradually spread from Glasgow, but I still wouldn't say they are exactly widespread.

Better start saving up for the Sheltered Accommodation now then, eh?
... or move to Scotland?

Heard this on Radio ponce the other morning, interesting story. Guy couldn't remember anything long term after the surgery he had in 1953, any experience he had was instantly forgotten, he couldn't go anywhere on his own because he wouldn't remember where to go back to,....

Even more interesting is the story of the woman who has probably made a greater contribution to medical science than anyone else. Henrietta Lacks was an impoverished black woman who died in 1951.

Cells from her body were taken without her consent and cultured. They still are!

Virtually every single person owes a debt to her as he HeLa cells as they are known were key in developing cancer drugs, test allergies, develop vaccines, AIDS research, and there are 11,000 medical patents developed using their cells.

She may even be the most influential woman who ever lived!

There is also a downside though as despite the multi million dollar business in her cells her famiy remained in poverty and could not even afford a gravestone. They still cannot afford medical insurance.

The story is fascinating, and I can recommend the book "The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks", or the BBC documentary:

If you're anything like me, then it's probably you...

I started to panic yesterday morning when I couldn't find my cycling shoes. They weren't in the cupboard in the hall, under the bed, or in the wardrobes. Where could they possibly have gone??

I found them 10 minutes later on the kitchen floor, where I'd put them after I already took them out of the hall cupboard... If my brain's like this at 31, christ knows what it'll be like in another 20 years!..

Just wait it comes i can tell you.
