Sportives, When? Where

Sorry of this is a really stupid question but I have not found anywhere that will let me know about Sportives in my local area (Nottingham), when they are and who to contact to find out about them.

Just looking for some motivation to keep me going through the winter.

Have a look at the following site http://www.cyclosport.org/. There isn't a 2008 calendar yet but you could have a look 2007 one to get some idea.
