Stupid season is once again upon us......

Soon we will have people suddenly running away from things whilst making silly noises LIKE A BIG 3 YEAR OLD.

Do people honestly think that is normal sane adult behaviour?? I mean FFS!

I sometimes think I've landed on an alien planet, really, I do.

We had a wasps nest in the eaves of our roof last year.
Was going to get someone in to remove.
But good advice on here said leave, they will die off when it get's cold and that they won't come back as they don't re-use the same nesting place twice.

You've met my wife then

Yes mine too- more flapping about than a flapping thing.
I'm definatley in a minority as I quite like wasps. They do eat other bugs (often garden pests) sometimes, pollinate some plants as well as being food for some of our birds such as the sublimely beautiful honey buzzard. And the wasp's papery nests are a thing of real beauty. I find if you keep your nerve and keep still, they soon go off elswehere.

They have a place in things I guess, though admittedly probably best not within 15 feet or so of my wife!
