Spring fever anyone

We are about 3 weeks short of our unofficial start of spring. (when the snow melts) Since late October we have been under a blanket of snow the the temperatures have dipped to -40. Now things are beginning to break. No longer do you leave for work in the dark and return home after sun down. Last week-end we had a sunny +2C, the young girls were out in shorts, Winter is breaking. With this traditionally comes some stupid driving, normally committed by males aged 16 to 22, but not limited to this group.

Here are a few events from the roads last week, wondering if anyone else has such seasonally based run ins?

Spring fever is definitely made is presence felt here:

Geese down by the canal have started to pair up and get stroppy when I ride past.

You see, I'd rather have your winters then ours. You get proper seasons so you can plan for them. We don't - our winters are too mild and too damp most of the time and the cold snap we've currently got is not long enough to invest in specialist gear.
