Aye, snowdrops and pansies. i've also seen buds from poplar, ash and elder has green shoots out already.
up here in the nw that is very early indeed for all this plant activity. i reckon we'll get a frost snap near feb tho to sort everything out.

we have daffs about 2 inches out of the soil in the window box in the front of the house. the trees also have a inch or so of new growth green shoots on them

IIRC, last year we didn't get any frost/ice until late Jan/Feb, by which point the roadsides were bright and cheery with early blooms. And I do believe I've experienced more white Easters than I have Christmases.

The weather men keep hinting that it may get cooler before the end of the month. Currently I have some leaves but no bulbs in flower.
