A huge fan but I have to say, after seeing him at Glastonbury, his voice has gone.

Who won? Him or t'blades?

Sheffield United finished on top, but that was the last match they won.

Not a fan of Springsteen himself - but I love I'm On Fire

However - when I hear him bleating out Santa Claus Is Coming To Town in the shops at Christmas I have to walk out the shop - truly bad.

I'm a 1975-1985 Live Box set person myself.
Favorites would be The River and Racing in the Street.
Only down side is there's a long preamble into in to The River. On the CD player I had in 86 it had an index button that could jump past that but none of the ones since have that feature. I've been too much of a tight wad to pick up the studio album.

From the same part of town but much much better than Springsteen - Southside Johnny ;)

Not sure Southside Johnny has aged as well as Springsteen, but very very good in his prime.

Good stuff here of them together

I have a few of Bruce's albums are i have mixed feelings about them, the stadium rock stuff is what appeals to me more mainly because im a big rock/anthem/older rock kind of guy and absolutely love Bon Jovi and that sort of music.

I must say that the last album Working on a dream was really good, especially Outlaw Pete and Queen of the Supermarket.Might have to dig it out for a relisten

I always liked his music but could take it or leave it until my wife said she was going to see him at Old Trafford cricket ground, maybe 8-10 years ago. I went along with few expectations and was totally blown away, haven't missed a UK tour since. He has some very good albums which I always enjoy but live this man really is The Boss. He understands his audience, gives them exactly what they want and truely enjoys it himself.

Hampden Park last summer was an astonishing experience from the best live band I've seen in more than 40 years of gigs. There are probably some who are more accomplished, I don't know, but for sheer entertainment there is no better.

I've been a big fan of Nils Lofgren since the early 70s so it's always doubly good to see the E Street Band.
