A bike specific brake cleaner or alcohol wipes give the rotors and good clean . Remove the pads and also clean . While the pads are out you can check for wear . Noise is commonly caused by some sort of contaminants on the pads or rotors

The two main causes of disc brake squeal are contamination with oil or similar and the pads having worn down to the bonding solution that attached then to the backing Plate.

In both cases the pads need to be removed, calliper (especially inside where rotor goes through) & rotor cleaned with disc brake cleaner And new pads fitted. Cleaning with white kitchen towel helps as it says white once everything is clean.

Clean , properly adjusted disc brakes won’t rub or squeal.
